Mumbai Lucknow Special

Indian Railway through its Central division has decided to add another summer special train between the busy route of Mumbai and Lucknow from 16th April, 2021. It will run from the CSMT station in Mumbai to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh in a one side trip. The reservations for the train are currently open.

Indian Railways has been busy opening new train routes to ease the burden of railway travelers who have been left stranded without the service of public transport after the announcement of nationwide lockdown.

Train Timings and Stoppages

The train 01195 Mumbai CSMT Lucknow Jn. One Way Special will depart from its base station Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 08:40 am and arrive at the destination station Lucknow Jn (LJN) at 03:30 pm on the next day. This special train will have stoppages at Mumbai Dadar Central (DR), Thane (TNA), Kalyan Jn (KYN), Nasik Road (NK), Bhusaval Jn (BSL), Khandwa (KNW), Itarsi Jn (ET), Jabalpur (JBP), Satna (STA), Banda Jn (BNDA), Kanpur Central (CNB) and Lucknow Jn (LJN).

Railway is restoring its passenger train service to pre pandemic levels, provided the Covid-19 remains under control. These trains are most likely to be special train service only. All regular passenger train services of Indian Railways were suspended when a nationwide lockdown was declared last year in March but since May 2020 special train services were started by the national transporter in a phased manner.
