Due to an unprecedented spike in daily coronavirus cases in India, there is tremendous amount of fear and confusion as to what is about to happen with our lives. Indian Railway has decided to play a critical role in these trying times by constantly ramping up new railway routes to meet the massive transport demand that is coming from all over the country. In this regard, The Northern Railway division of the Indian Railways has decided to run 5 additional summer special fully reserved trains (Single Side Trips).

The train 04474 Anand Vihar Terminal Saharsa One Way Summer Special Fare Special will depart from its base station Anand Vihar Trm (ANVT) at 11:15 pm and reach its destination station Saharsa Jn (SHC) at 11:30 pm on the next day. This train will have stoppages at Aligarh Jn, Tundla Jn, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Badshahnagar, Barabanki Jn, Gonda Jn, Basti, Khalilabad, Gorakhpur Jn, Deoria Sadar, Siwan Jn, Chhapra, Sonpur Jn, Hajipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn, Samastipur Jn, Dalsingh Sarai, Barauni Jn, Begu Sarai, Khagaria Jn and Mansi Jn.
The train 04476 New Delhi Bhagalpur One Way Summer Special Fare Special will depart from its base station New Delhi (NDLS) at 11:15 pm and reach its destination station Bhagalpur (BGP) at 07:30 pm on the next day. This train will have stoppages at Kanpur Central, Deendayal Upadhyaya Jn, Patna Jn, Patna Saheb, Fatwa, Bakhtiyarpur Jn, Barh, Mokameh Jn, Hathidah Jn, Luckeesarai Jn, Kiul Jn, Kajra, Abhaipur, Dharhara, Jamalpur Jn, Bariarpur and Sultanganj.
The train 04478 Anand Vihar Terminal Raxaul One Way Summer Special Fare Special will depart from its base station Anand Vihar Trm (ANVT) at 11:45 pm and reach its destination station Raxaul Jn (RXL) at 04:00 am on the 3rd day. Enroute this train will halt at Pilkhua, Hapur, Amroha, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjehanpur, Hardoi, Alamnagar, Lucknow, Barabanki Jn, Rudauli, Faizabad Jn, Ayodhya, Goshainganj, Akbarpur, Shahganj Jn, Jaunpur Jn, Varanasi Jn, Varanasi City, Aunrihar Jn, Ghazipur City, Yusufpur, Ballia, Suraimanpur, Chhapra, Dighwara, Hajipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn and Sitamarhi Jn.
The train 04480 New Delhi Darbhanga One Way Summer Special Fare Special will depart from its base station New Delhi (NDLS) at 11:55 pm and reach its destination station Darbhanga Jn (DBG) at 11:45 pm on the next day. This train will have stoppages at Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjehanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki Jn, Gonda Jn, Mankapur Jn, Babhnan, Basti, Khalilabad, Gorakhpur Jn, Deoria Sadar, Bhatni Jn, Bhatpar Rani, Mairwa, Siwan Jn, Chhapra, Hajipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn, Dholi, Samastipur Jn, Haiaghat and Laheria Sarai.
The train 04482 New Delhi Rajendra Nagar Terminal One Way Summer Special will depart from its base station New Delhi (NDLS) at 11:15 pm and reach its destination station Rajendra Nagar Bihar (RJPB) 02:00 pm on the next day. This train will have stoppages at Kanpur Central, Mirzapur, Deendayal Upadhyaya Jn and Patna Jn.
Indian Railway is restoring its passenger train services to almost pre-pandemic levels. These trains are also likely to be special trains only and not regular passenger services. All regular passenger train services of Indian Railways were suspended when a nationwide lockdown was declared last year in March but since May 2020 special train services were started by the national transporter in a phased manner.
