Train horns have never sounded so beautiful. I felt happy whenever I awoke to this sound, even if I had gone to bed in a different mood. It meant that delicious aromas would soon emanate from the kitchen, which would make me happy. It meant I was back in that tiny one-bedroom house where only one person opened her arms wide open to make me feel at ease. It indicated that I was at my grandmother's residence. 

Everyone who had a simple conversation with her was filled with love because of her warmth. My grandfather was a reclusive man who rarely spoke to his family, but my grandmother had a completely different family, people who lived down the street. They provided so much love in so many different ways and created so many memories that they sometimes provided more than her daughters and son could. There was so much love around her that it seeped into me as well.
