Indian Railways have announced the changes in the departure/terminal stations for 5 pairs of special trains. In a bid to facilitate the placement of COVID-19 isolation ward coaches at the Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) the railway board has decided to change the originating/terminating stations of 10 special trains (5 pairs) to Delhi junction (DLI) till further advice.
As all the seven platforms at the Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) have been reserved for the deployment of the isolation coaches for the COVID-19 patients, such a step has been taken by the railways. Northern Railway (NR) has planned to shift the departure/terminal stations of the following trains:

02558 Sapt Kranti SF Covid 19 Special that departs from Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 14:50 will now depart from Delhi junction (DLI) at 14:40 from June 16 onwards.

02557 Sapt Kranti SF Covid 19 Special that terminates at Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 07:40 will now be terminated at Delhi junction (DLI) at 07:50 from June 15 onwards.

05274 Satyagraha Covid 19 Special that departs from Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 17:25 will now depart from Delhi junction (DLI) at 17:15 from June 16 onwards.

05273 Satyagraha Covid 19 Special that terminates at Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 09:00 will now be terminated at Delhi junction (DLI) at 09:10 from June 15 onwards.

02220 Suhaildev Covid 19 SF Special (via Lucknow) that departs from Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 18:45 will now depart from Delhi junction (DLI) at 18:35 from June 16 onwards.

02219 Suhaildev Covid 19 SF Special (via Lucknow) that terminates at Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 08:00 will now be terminated at Delhi junction (DLI) at 09:10 from June 15 onwards.

02234 Suhaildev Covid 19 SF Special (via Prayagraj) that departs from Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 19:10 will now depart from Delhi junction (DLI) at 19:00 from June 19 onwards.

02233 Suhaildev Covid 19 SF Special (via Prayagraj) that terminates at Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 07:15 will now be terminated at Delhi junction (DLI) at 07:25 from June 16 onwards.

04010 Champaran Satyagraha Covid 19 Special that departs from Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 23:45 will now depart from Delhi junction (DLI) at 23:40 from June 20 onwards.

04009 Champaran Satyagraha Covid 19 Special that terminates at Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) at 18:15 will now be terminated at Delhi junction (DLI) at 18:30 from June 21 onwards.
The COVID-19 cases rose to 3.33 lakh. The death toll also crossed the 9,500-mark to stand at 9525 deaths. The recovery rate has also increased to 51% as per current records.
