If you ever used the IRCTC app or the website for booking train tickets, you already know that you could book only up to 6 tickets in a month, if your Aadhaar was not linked. Whereas, after linking Aadhaar you could book up to 12 tickets in a month.

With the said changes, a user whose Aadhaar is not linked can now book up to 12 tickets in a month. On the other hand, if your Aadhaar is linked, you are allowed to book a maximum of 24 tickets. You can book the same number of tickets by using the Trainman app or website as well. This rule will be effective within a month or so.
