Indian Railways is one of the largest railway networks in the world, covering more than 67,000 km of track and serving millions of passengers every day. It plays a vital role in the country's transportation infrastructure, connecting people and goods across India's vast geography.
However, despite running a huge number of trains, Indian train passengers are not easy to cater to. Hence, from time to time, the Indian Railways introduces special trains on various routes to meet the needs of passengers.
And, to accommodate the expected surge in passenger travel this summer, Indian Railways has made the decision to introduce new special trains and extend some existing services.
