Railways is resuming suspended train services and increasing the frequency of several trains for the convenience of railway passengers. The trains had been cancelled by the railways due to poor occupancy rate of passengers amid an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases in Karnataka and Jharkhand region.
Train Timings and Stoppages
The train 02835 Hatia Yesvantpur SF Special Fare Special departs from its base station Hatia (HTE) at 06:25 pm and reaches its destination station Yesvantpur Jn(YPR) at 03:45 am on the 3rd day. This train will have stoppages at Rourkela, Sambalpur, Balangir, Titlagarh, Parvatipuram Tn, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot Jn, Vijayawada Jn, Nellore, Gudur Jn, Tirupati Main, Chittoor, Katpadi Jn and Jolarpettai. The trains will run bi-weekly from 6th of June on Tuesday and Sunday
On the return journey the train 02836 Yesvantpur Hatia SF Special Fare Special departs from its base station Yesvantpur Jn(YPR) at 08:30 am and reaches its destination station Hatia (HTE) at 05:40 pm on the next day. Enroute this train will halt at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi Jn, Chittoor, Tirupati Main, Gudur Jn, Nellore, Vijayawada Jn, Samalkot Jn, Visakhapatnam, Parvatipuram Tn, Titlagarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda Jn and Rourkela. The trains will run bi-weekly from 27th of June on Tuesday and Thursday.
The Indian Railway is hoping to restore its passenger train services to almost pre Covid-19 levels, provided India gets control of the virus which is ravaging the country in a deadly second wave. These trains are also likely to be special trains only and not regular passenger services.
