In light of the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi Festival, the Indian Railways have announced 6 additional trains to be run between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Mangaluru Junction to tackle the rush of passengers. While the Central Railways has already announced to run 212 Ganpati Special Trains and with these 6, the total number of Ganpati Special Trains will be 218 this year. The festival will start on August 31 and will end on September 9, 2022.
Here’s the list of the 6 Ganpati Special Trains
- 01173 LTT MAJN AC SPL – Lokmanya Tilak Terminal to Mangaluru Jn – (3 Services)
This special train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 20.50 hrs and will arrive at Mangaluru Junction at 17.05 hrs the next day.

- 01174 MAJN LTT AC SPL – Mangaluru Jn to Lokmanya Tilak Terminal – (3 Services)
This special train will leave Mangaluru Junction at 20.15 hrs and will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17.30 hrs the next day.
