As of now the masks of various qualities and the bottle of hand sanitizers (travel-size) have been put in the vending machine. For the convenience of the passengers the price list of every item has been displayed on the kiosk. The machine accepts both coins & paper currency. The tap cum dispenser has been developed using refurbished materials that were available in the railway workshop. Apart from this vehicle-mounted sprayer is also being used to disinfect the parking areas, waiting rooms, platforms, stairs and lifts at the Faizabad (FD) station. The machine is equipped with technology that can scan the body temperature of travellers by people sitting on the booth who can also check whether the passengers are wearing a mask or not.
