Get ready for a major boost in India's rail network! On December 30, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off a total of seven new Vande Bharat Express trains, marking a significant step towards improved connectivity and travel comfort.
Five of these trains are the much-anticipated Vande Bharat Express, known for their sleek design, high speeds, and modern amenities. The new Vande Bharat routes will connect Ayodhya, the holy city, and other various destinations across the country:
- Ayodhya - Anand Vihar (Delhi)
- Ayodhya - Vaishno Devi
- Amritsar - New Delhi
- Jalna - Mumbai
- Coimbatore - Bengaluru
These connections will not only enhance accessibility for pilgrims and tourists but also provide faster and more comfortable travel options for the general public.
Alongside the Vande Bharats, two new Amrit Bharat Express trains will be launched, catering to the needs of budget-conscious travelers. Utilizing Push and Pull technology, these trains will offer faster travel times and improved acceleration compared to traditional trains. The Amrit Bharat routes include:
- Delhi - Darbhanga via Ayodhya
- Malda - Bengaluru
