The Vande Bharat services have improved by having a fully sealed gangway (also known as Vestibules or inter-coach pathways) that prevents dust and noise from coming in and semi-permanent couplers that make the travel smooth and shock-free.
The service also has onboard Wi-Fi and an infotainment system, as well as electric outlets and reading lights. The train has features like automatic doors, smoke alarms, CCTV cameras, an odour control system, bio-vacuum toilets, and sensor-based water taps. Out of the 22 coaches in this express train, 12 are Non-AC Sleeper Class (SL), 8 are General Unreserved Class (GS/UR), and 2 are Luggage Coaches (EOGs). A sealed gangway connects the coaches, ensuring safety and minimizing noise and vibrations.
