Many trains were cancelled by the Indian railways due to poor occupancy rate of passengers amid an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases in the length and breadth of India.
Train Timings and Stoppages
The train 05054 Lucknow Jn. Chhapra Special will depart from its base station Lucknow Jn (LJN) at 09:00 pm and reach the destination station Chhapra (CPR) at 11:20 am the next morning. This train will have stops at Badshahnagar, Gomati Nagar, Faizabad Jn, Ayodhya, Varanasi Jn, Ghazipur City, Ballia, and Suraimanpur. It will start its operations from 14th July 2021 and will run on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
On the return journey the train 05053 Chhapra Lucknow Jn. Special will depart from its base station Chhapra (CPR) at 07:35 pm and reach the destination station Lucknow Jn (LJN) at 08:45 am the next day. En route, this train will halt at Suraimanpur, Ballia, Ghazipur City, Varanasi Jn, Ayodhya, Faizabad Jn, Gomati Nagar, and Badshahnagar. It will start its operations from 17th July 2021 and will run on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
The train 05083 Chhapra Farrukhabad Utsarg Special will depart from its base station Chhapra (CPR) at 06:00 pm and reach the destination station Farrukhabad (FBD) at 12:20 pm the next day. This train will have stops at Gautamsthan, Suraimanpur, Ballia, Ratanpura, Mau Jn, Azamgarh, Shahganj Jn, Ayodhya, Faizabad Jn, Barabanki Jn, Lucknow City, Kanpur Central, Kanpur Anwarganj, and Kannauj. It will start its operations from 15th July 2021 and will run on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
On return journey the train 05084 Farrukhabad Chhapra Utsarg Special will depart from its base station Farrukhabad (FBD) at 02:35 pm and reach the destination station Chhapra (CPR) at 08:35 am the next day. En route, this train will halt at Kannauj, Anwarganj, Kanpur, Lucknow City, Barabanki Jn, Faizabad Jn, Ayodhya, Shahganj Jn, Azamgarh, Mau Jn, Ratanpura, Ballia, Suraimanpur, and Gautamsthan. It will start its operations from 16th July 2021 and will run on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
The Indian Railway is doing its utmost to restore its passenger train service capacity to pre Covid-19 levels provided India gets control of the virus and the upcoming 3rd wave is contained at the earliest. These trains are also likely to be special trains only and not regular passenger services.
