Feeling bored at Railway Station while waiting for your own train or for a relative? Facing weak mobile data connection? Don’t worry Indian Railways in partnership with Google and Railtel is offering free WiFi facilities at almost all railway stations. And you don’t have to pay a single penny for availing this facility.
Following are the steps through which you can connect free wifi to your device at the railway station.
Step 1: First and foremost, select the Railwire network in your device's WiFi settings.
Step 2: Once selected the same, open your browser and enter "railwire.co.in" (URL of the railways’ wifi) into the window.
Step 3: You will then be directed to the login screen where you can enter your phone number and click on "receive SMS OTP".
Step 4: A 4-digit OTP code will be sent to you in SMS. Just fill-up the code in the WiFi login and click "done".
Step 5: You can then see a checkmark that'll let you know that you are connected to fast, free WiFi.
