1. Chinchpokli
   Situated in the core of South-central Mumbai, this present station's name is a combination of the Marathi words chinch ("tamarind") and pokli ("betel nut"). The name obviously originates from the tamarind trees that used to grow around the locality. The station is located in Mumbai.



2. Venkatanarasimharajuvaripeta
   The name of this border town in Andhra Pradesh is quite a mouthful and I bet nobody can get it right in one go. At 28 letters, it holds the distinction of having the longest name of any railway station in India. Now and again, the prefix "Sri" (a title for honor) is added to the name conveying its length to a stunning 31 letters! The station is located in Andhra Pradesh.



3. Kala Bakra
   Kala Bakra railway station takes its name from a little town in Punjab. The name signifies "black goat" in Hindi. We don't know whether this is a reference to color of goats from this district or something else. 4. Divine Nagar
   Divine Nagar ("Divine City" in Hindi) is a station in Kerala. 12. Nana

14. Bap
    Bap of all stations? The thought did cross your mind, didn’t it? The station gets its name from the neighboring village named Bap. Why a village’s name would be Bap? We wish we knew the theory behind it. Bap railway station, under the Bikaner division, is a part of the North Western Railways. Bap is located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Lalgarh Jaisalmer Express along with other passenger trains passes through the station.



15. Snapdeal.com Nagar
    Previously known as Shiv Nagar, after the Hindu Deity "Ruler Shiva", the town was renamed as snapdeal.com Nagar. The town didn’t have a source of portable drinking water and people had to stroll miles to get drinkable water until Snapdeal introduced 15 handpumps in the town and tackled the drinking water crisis. To pay an appreciation to the e-commerce giant, villagers came out as one to rename their village as Snapdeal.com. Snapdeal.com Nagar is located in Uttar Pradesh.
